Subject: Winter Haven Fishing Report
Date: Monday, November 03, 2003 7:33 PM

Went to the Winter Haven Chain on Saturday. Put in at the Lake Shipp Ramp. The Winter Haven Chain consists of several lakes tied together by short canals. The chain is surrounded by town, houses and roads. This is where Cypress Gardens was. Cypress Gardens is still there-just out of business.

Fished six and a half hours for three bites. Those bass were all in the Kissimmee grass and bit pearl white Zoom Super Flukes pitched/flipped into the grass. All three fish missed were decent sized bass.

The Winter Haven Chain has had several very large tournaments over the years. The M-1, and an Everstart Challenge. The Winter Haven Chain is truly a challenge.

Sure makes me appreciate Stick Marsh and Farm 13 a bunch more after I try for bass at Winter Haven Chain.
