Hopefully the Yanks can relax and get to hitting the way they are capable of. If the Yanks can beat Beckett we might not even get another game in NY. Game 4 may be the last start and game for Roger. Hopefully he goes out as a winner.
Good to see the Yanks break out of their hitting slump in game 2.
Petite was awesome. Despite his homer, Soriano still looks befuddled at the plate. After Nick Johnsons 3 hit game, tough choice on who should play first, him or Giambi. If Mussina can get back in the groove, should be a Yankee bash.
Anyone else finding the Fox broadcasters and approach less than inspiring. Self promotion for Fox shows, etc. getting very tiring.
Need to resurect Mel Allen to call the games.

Timmy: I agree with you about Soriano: that was a fat meatball hanging curve.....it is a credit to his strength and talent that he responded and was all over it, but it was a classic mistake pitch.....
I would like to see him lay off those outside pitches off the plate.......
also, I would like to see him go with the pitch on the ones that nip the outside corner of the plate....
trying to pull those pitches no matter what is what is getting him into trouble....
when a right handed batter is in a slump, he will hit few ball to right field for hits......
Beating Pedro twice was the hard part...We seem to play just as good on the road. I think Sori will put on his hitting shoes these next few games and Posada is 0 for the first 2 games. These guys will get their hits in Fla...
