Geezuz Chrismus!!!

I can't stand it any more.....

" The Knicks have to learn how not to give up double digit leads"

HELLO? HELLO????

This IS the NBA, right? Am I missing something? Giving up Double Digit leads??? right, the Knicks are the only team in basketball that gives up leads?????

THAT IS WHAT MAKES NBA BASKETBALL SO GREAT!!!

It's not like baseball, where you can give up 2 runs in the beginning of the game and then lose 2 nothing.......

Its the freakin' NBA........teams come back all the time from double digit deficit.......then they either run out of the steam, the other team makes another run, or they get over the top and win the game.....

a common , daily occurrence in the NBA........

This team got rid of a malcontent like Sprewell, with his 38 percent shooting percentage and replaced his 6-5 body with a 6-10 mobile forward like Van Horn.....

they picked up a giant 7 foot plus center like Mutombo that can still be effectively utilized by the right coach......

Houston is coming off Knee surgery, he missed the entire pre season......

McDyess is still not back.....

GIVE ME A FRICKIN' BREAK AND CUT THEM SOME DAMN

SLACK!

When McDyess comes back, this team for the first time in a millenium will actually present match up problems to other NBA teams, having a front line of 6-10, 6-10 and 7 plus......

the way I see it, with McDyess, they are one player ( point guard ) away from being a contending team.......

but Chreist Almighty!!!

4 games into the Friggin' season?

Do we really have to endure this shite from the Sports media all the time????

jumping on the bandwagon, jumping off the bandwagon....they have become such a sniveling bunch of whiney losers.........

not just with Basketball but with other sports.....read the writeups on JETS and Giants games on Monday,,,,,,,they change their tune more times than a tone-deaf air-guitarist.......

makes me feel like doing a moratorium on all the sports back pages and most of the assinine Radio host shows lately.......

the Radio host guys are even worse, because they have become the ultimate rabble rousers......

WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO POSITIVE REPORTING????

The negativity in the sports media right now, is at an all Time Nauseating High!!!

Rant over....LOL......

I know: but my point is wait and see......look at this Knicks teams about 20 or so games down the road......don't crucify them every game at this junction of the beginning season...

same for the NETS: Martin is out, the backup up shooting guard is out (Luscious Harris) ......they will hit a point where they will click, no doubt.....but they have to be given some slack also.....

I think it is the PRESS, not the Fans, that are the most impatient when it comes to rebuilding a team.....

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA.....the McDyess-less KNicks just beat the Sacramento Kings and the depleted NETS just beat the Boston Celtics....

I love it...

watch the writers salivate over them in the papers tomorrow....

then when the Knicks lose the next game, here will be the topic of the day:

"THE KNICKS HAVE TO LEARN TO BE CONSISTENT! "

hahahhahahahahahahha...........

instead of just enjoying the moment for what it is worth.......

Update on this thread:

the Knicks won that game by coming back from a double digit deficit.....

WHAT IS WRONG WITH SACRAMENTO? HOW COME THEY GIVE UP DOUBLE DIGIT LEADS?

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHh.....

actually, Sacramento was playing without their star....

The Nets, who won, had a double digit lead that they gave up, but then they managed to regroup and win the game......

again, everyday occurences in the NBA....what it is all about.....

here is another one:

Lakers lost for the first time last night by almost 20 points....

HOW CAN A TEAM LIKE THE LAKERS LOSE BY 20 POINTS IF THEY HAVE ALL THOSE GREAT PLAYERS?

oh, but the fact that they played a Double overtime the night before had nothing to do with the fact that they were just plain tired? HAHHAHAHH..........

life in the NBA....tough road schedules, tough competition, injuries........

but the Press would never want to know anything about those little particulars when they put up their sensational headlines

Headline on todays Boston Globe sports page, "Sick, not tired"with a story about the Nets being down three productive players and the C's still not able to beat them.. IMHO Paris Hilton is not that hot the fact she stands to inherit 234 billion dollars is what makes her news worthy, we're fools for even giving her any of our valuable time.

celts looked lost last night...how the hell does Jason Collins score a barrage of points in the 2nd quarter?...

Its funny, coz the Celts have the talent to go up to the 1st round. And pick a nobody in the 1st round....

the team needs another impact player....

the All Star Lakers are on cruise control and will turn it on later in the season....

The Kings will be nothing unless Webber plays...

THe Spurs looked mighty good playing the Lakers even without Duncan the other night.....that Ginobli is a heady player....

not really, John...Baker looks good out there..and Raef will put in at least 10 pts and 7 bounds per game....and open up the middle with his 3 pters...

Even with Walker, I believe the Celts will not make it past the 1st round....

Allan Houston is lights out the last 3 games...another good strong game last night, albeit a loss to the lowly Bucks...

Do you think Chaney is the right coach for this group?....I dont think so......hey, here's an idea....how about former Buck coach George Karl?

they could certainly do better than Chaney, for sure.. however, his team plays hard for him.....

Baker? how soon before he relapses ? I worry about him long term....

tiny giant

Earl Boykins at 5-5, scores 27 pts to lead his Nuggets past Orlando, despite T-Mac's 51 pts. Boykins is averaging around 15 ppg in this young season....

Shows you, height aint it all in the NBA....
