Thought today was going to be a disaster. Strong winds and high pressure severe cold front coming down ; we all have been here BUT this is fishing. I had a pretty good day on Croton Falls and it was a shallow bite. Sencos on very steep rocky shores in no deeper then 8 to 10 ft. Two spots produce. Just kept drifting back and fourth and almost every past produced. Caught two on jig and pig in trees.Fished from 11 to 4. Put every thing away for row across lake and got to where boat is parked and just got a urge to take the sb rod out , something just looked right. Bingo, a nice 5lb lm. All in all I had 15 nice lm. I still cant find any sm.but I really stayed with the lm shallow bite. So Huge any one else needs that little push, well I am definitely going back out tomorrow.Time is running out on us guys and you no what that means: FISHING JONES. Fish this time a year are really crazy with these severe weather systems coming and going but I agree with what some others have said that bass know whats coming and there going to feed regardless .If you are free tomorrow how can younot go..

TOUGH FISHING

John I am going out today in a little while but cant decide to go back to Croton Falls or try my luck at Cross River. Agood buddy was there the other day and caught over 10 nice sm on crank baits. I really want those sm but its hard to not go back where I have been having good luck. Iwill let you know how I do. FOOTBALLS
