Guys,

Im just wondering what everyone's prediction is on the winning weight? Let's not focus on who (because all joking aside, it is a crap shoot with a weeks off limits), but what do you think the final weights will be?

Here's my guess on the top 3:

1st - 14lbs
2nd - 12lbs
3rd - 8lbs

Anyone else?

Pat,

With more guys playing the deep game, I think the top three places are going to be tighter than in previous years and then dropping off quickly after that. I wouldn't be surprised to see something like the following:

1st 16lbs
2nd 15.5lbs
3rd 14.8lbs
4th 12.5lbs
5th 10.2lbs

If the fat ladies decided to make a last run to the shallows, then an 18lbs bag would not surprise me in the least. Either way, it should be an interesting day on the water. See you in the A.M.

Pat, I think much of the field will have a hard day. 12lbs should win this despite the talent. If someone can find a deep bite with bigger fish, only then might you get 14 or 15lbs.

I totally agree. Reguarless of WHERE the fish are coming from, I would be shocked if it took anything more than 14lbs - and that is being generous. It could take 10lbs to win the whole ball of wax.

Ok, how about lunkers? What is that going to be.....

My bet:

1st lunker - 3.14
2nd lunker - 3.8

I am willing to bet that the first place lunker will be a fathead, and the second will be a smallie.

I think 15lbs is not impossible. And a SMB could be lunker, say about 3-14.
