The "Smallmouth Bonanza"

This Saturday is Avon Angler's second annual "Smallmouth Bonanza" at Conesus Lake. This event should bring many 17-20 pound bags of smallies to the scales, as it did last year. As with every Avon tx, this event is open to all!

Forcast for Saturday as of now: Blast off time is supposed to be around 23 degrees with scattered flurries and a NW wind around 15 mph. Later in the day "warming" to 33 degrees for the high, with NW winds remaining around 10-15 mph.

It's about time we got good smallmouth weather!! :D

Gee, we even found Ted an EXTRA drain plug in the Conesus parking lot a couple weeks ago.

(Does it seem like "gang up on Ted week", or is it just me?)

:D
WOW!! I just checked the afternoon forcast update:

SATURDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW FLURRIES. COLDER
WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 20S. NORTH WINDS AROUND 15 MPH.

This might be brutal! I can already feel the snot running down my face :D
Below 32 here already, but the winds died down ALOT!!
