LIVE FROM THE NY BOAT SHOW

Why thank you for the lovely introduction Wild Bill.

The time is now 5:04PM, Saturday Dec. 20th and the
BASS BOATS just rolled on to the show floor. Some dazzling models offered by Stratos, Nitro & Tracker ranging from 16' aluminums up to the remarkable 21' Stratos Aniversary model on display in the lobby, right across from a very sharp looking 18' Nitro. The engine dispalys from Yamaha, Mercury, Honda and Evinrude / Johnson are all begining to take shape as well. (To think--what most of you out there in NYBASS land would do if there wasn't good security at this place--LOL)

You can also get a good heads up on the latest models of jet ski that will annoying the beegeebers out of all of us next year, to boot. The NY DEC is here again with a fine display and tons of info for both Fresh & Saltwater fishing. (I have been given their permission to fish for bass on a year round basis, with no size limit and a 9 fish creel limit---yup it sure is good to have connections)

Soon the booth vendors of all shapes ,sizes and products will begin to set up as well and then.....I guess we'll have a boat show. Stay tuned for further up dates and additional color commentary from the lovely and talented WILD BILL. Yes Joe--you can make comments too! See Ya soon!

Worse yet, all them pretty boat super-models keep coming and sitting on my lap, getting me even more steamy, especially when they try to PROVE to me just how good they are this year.......wait, is that Earthy in the crowd, Hey Earthy, help me out here for sec and take the job...being Santa ain't all its cracked to be.....LOL"

Santa:... "Ho, Ho, Ho.....yup Leigh, all the models are excited about Paris's seminars' and outfits she might be wearing. Heck they all seem to also want to follow her lead....They all telling Santa they want Video Cams, and one other thing"

Santa:..." Modeling must be way more physical demending and strenous than I thought though....they all asking for personal massagers....I never realized they got so many aches from modeling ...HO, HO, HO"

Hello Again to everyone out in NYBASS land.

Its now 10:00PM Monday evening and I just returned home after spending 5 nights at the lovely Westin Times Sqaure hotel while setting up for the Boat Show. It is almost done--ready for you to enjoy. Friday will be the last day for set up and then the "Big Opening" on Saturday December 27th.

Lots of electronics on display from all the major manufacturers, some VERY nice rods available from Chaos rods, Ugly Duckling lures, Engines, Inflatables, Docking ropes, Custom Embroidery on hats, jackets, shirts, sunglasses, tools, lots of saltwater baits, trout flies, raingear---oh yeah and lots ofBOATS

Live from the New York Boat Show

Quite a crowd here today for opening day at the show.
Todays celebrities included the distinguished president of Outcast Bass Anglers, Mr. Kenny Case and our newly crowned ANGLER of the YEAR and his squeeze, Chis (Booze) Gerhart and the lovely Ann. Rumor has it that Jet300 and Rookie of the Year, Doug E Fresh will be arriving shortly. Where the hell are the rest of you. LOL

The STRATOS boats are not to be missed. A nice selection by Tracker as well. Port-a-boat, Kyacks and Inflatables.....oh my! Ugly Duckling has a super display, Chaos rods has a very nice selection. Plenty of eye candy too!

Pete L---I checked this morning and "Interesting Items" does not have any blunt objects for sale. I guess you'll just have to bring your own or use Joe P.
My feet hurt!

I was working in our DISCOVER BOATING booth's internet cafe earlier today and wanted to show the small crowd that I was talking with our magnificant NYBASS website.....whoose picture do you think poped up on the screen.......MAJOR EGO BOOST!!!! Thanks again Mike.

I was there yesterday. Thanks again for the tickets Leigh . I saw the Stratos boats, and the Tracker boats, and everybody said they knew Leigh but no one knew where to find him?? You sure you weren't sleeping in the back room somewhere? LOL

What I need you to do for me is to get the Robalo dealer to knock around 20 grand off the price of his 24 walkaround. ....Think you can handle that for me before I come back? LOL

I dont know about 20 G's though. I'll have to see if my factory contact is here at the show as all of my dealings with Robalo have been through the Mfgr as opposed to the local dealers. Are there any other brands you are looking at. I can help with Polar, Key West, Sea Pro, Mako, Aquasport, Cape Craft, Sea Swirl, Triton and Key Largo.
