From their #1 New York finish in the TBF District 14 Semi-Final, Congratulations and Best Wishes go out to Corey DiLorenzo (Boater) and Sam Foster (Co-Angler) who will make the long trek to the TBF National Event in February. As recently announced, the big tournament will take place on Lake Conroe in Conroe Texas. Just north of Houston, the 20,000 acre Lake has been the site of a constant battle with the removal up to 4 kinds of evasive aquatic weeds and with brush piles and standing timber, Lake Conroe has produced many “Texas Share a Lunker” largemouth bass and the lake record is 16 pounds. Of course the NYTBF Boys can also check out you tube’s “How to catch bass on Lake Conroe, with Mike Iaconelli”. For more info about the NYTBF for 2022, check out our Facebook page. Most notable are the Saturday points and Sunday 2nd Annual Dick Garlock Memorial Open Team Tournament (7-30/31-22) out of Cape Vincent, 1,000 Islands. Site of the recent NY State Record smallmouth bass caught by Patrick Hildenbrand (8 lbs 4 oz.) in a NYTBF Tournament.
