Subject: Stick Marsh & Farm 13 Catching Report
Date: Monday, November 24, 2003 7:41 PM

The bass catching at Stick Marsh and Farm 13 continues to get better and better. The bass are favoring wild shiners. They are eating them up. The bass are swelling as they go their first mad feeding spree prior to bedding for the first time of the season.

The bass are located in areas where the bait is abundant. They are located in areas near the spawning grounds. They are stacked in like cord wood and looking to eat. My clinets and I have been giving them the opportunity.

The bass are located in the NorthWest corner of Stick Marsh; in the Back Lot; around all three spillways; near the "Slots" in Stick Marsh; along the levies in both lakes (both on and off shore: and probably some more places.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday were excellent trips with some very nice bass. Father and son had a good time catching some very nice bass. We fished with wild shiners on the first day and on the second day we used soft plastic jeckbaits with good success. Later the second day we used three dozen wild shiners to catch a bunch of real nice bass.

Today, Monday, Father, daughter and wife had an excellent trip. Mon started the action with the first bass. Daughter followed. For a bit it looked as though Dad was about to be shut out. Mom caught a 6 1/2 pounder and daughter (10 yrs) caught a 6 pounder. Dad finally got involved with the catching. Dad caught an 8 1/2 pounder which he later topped it with a 10 pounder. All these bass were caught on wild shiners. The catch for the day was about 30 bass, about 15 pickerel, and one mud fish.
