Stick Marsh and Farm 13 are awesome! Today the weather forecast was 15-25 mph winds with gusts to 45 mph. Possibility of storms and lightning storms. Do we go? My clients opted to go.

Good Thing we went. It was a little windy. We stationed the boat in a "less windy" area and put our shiners to work. We thought it was tough to get a bite. However, the bass soon located our shiners and went to work eating. Scott, Steve and Dad had not fished in at least two years. They did well with Steve boating a bass 24 1/8 th inches long. The rascall was a little skinny. But still a real nice bass. I would take her in any tournament I fished.

This was a half day trip (4 hours ramp to ramp). We used all of the four dozen shiners we purchased from Middleton's. They were excellent shiners. Best I've seen in awhile! I do not know the number of bass but, there were lots. We did catch several Chain Pickerel was well.

Scott, Steve and Dad are on board again tomorrow for another half day. Weather tomorrow is supposed to be less windy but more rain possibilities. Sure hope the weather man is wrong about tomorrow like he was today.
