...... on Conesus! Alright!!:D Looks like perfect smallie weather for Conesus, ey Noel?? Temps in the low 40's and no accumulations. Just as as long as I don't have to trailer on snow-covered roads!:(

Lets see who's really into it! The smallies should be on fire! Any word on the launch??

All I saw was mid 40's and cloudy, but non-accumulating snow will do to! :D

I have Ed Weber checking on the launch situation for me on a daily basis. And of coarse, Seth will be on top of it to! I drove down there Friday, and there is no sign of anything going on. My guess, water levels are too high right now to do anything with the launch dock supports. They may not even do it at all this fall!

I wanna see a record bag of smallies this weekend from somebody!!

Actually, after thinking about it, 21.38 pounds would be VERY difficult to break with the 3 fish limit I have in the Last Casts
Those would be some "bad dudes", if you could do that with 3-fish! :D I was wondering when you were going to realize that. LOL)) So, basically, what you're saying is that you set the record but then make sure that none of us get a chance to break it?:D :D

It would be cool to see a 21 lbs limit for 3 fish.....hey, ya never know!!!!:D

I am thinking we need to have a couple in December, the water should be nice and liquid!

I'm with you, Seth. I think that's looking like a real possibility. ;)

Bummer, that you can't make it on Sunday.:( I know you'd love to be there. Does that mean I can have your honeyhole?:D

Haaa!! What honey hole??!!? I think Noel will be the one to follow! I will tell you that our biggest fish recently have come on the North end of Conesus, not really typical for this time of year!

I think Charlie will be there....geeeshhh, I don't know what he will do without his "net man"!! :D

Mmmmmm, I've been toying with the idea of hitting the north end, the last couple times we were there. My stuff seems to really be drying up. Noel won't let me go his spot:D so I might just have to "sneak" up north if the other places don't pan out.

A couple years ago, we did pretty good up there, real late in the season. Don't know why I haven't gone back.

Ronny H. stopped by the house this morning and said he was planning on going.

I just might have to

Well guys, I don't fish too many of these chilly tx's, but after putting together the background shots of some of Noel's photo's -I feel that I have accumulated and pinpointed enough productive areas to fish... At least on Conesus anyways

I'll just roll up on him and drop the classic line...

"Hey, you know about about this spot too?"

Three fish for 16 maybe?

Last year, on exactly the same day and lake, Woody had 14.70 lbs. in three fish. It's possible!!

Hope you can make it! Just dress like you're going in the woods and you'll be fine. It'll be fun!

Two years ago we noticed a definite shift of action from the south end to the north end, and it was early December when it did that. The water temp then was just as it is now, low to mid 40's. Not sure why that took place, but it did. On most the larger Finger Lakes, it is a known fact that smallies migrate to the southern ends of the lakes to winter over. Must be opposite on Conesus :D Someday I will find out why!

If you ever figure Smallies out, let me KNOW..... LOL. They are the most unpredictable fish, and their attitude as it changes form body of water to body of water is so different its like catching a completly different fish sometimes...

We'll have to keep an eye on the weather!

Looks like some nasty stuff (snow and wind) is moving in later tonight and continuing through tomorrow at least. It looks like the snow will taper off, but the winds MIGHT still blow it around pretty good for Saturday night and Sunday morning.

We'll have to wait and see what developes out of this.

IF a cancellation is necessary, I hope to reschedule next Saturday, December 6th. Next Sunday is out because I'll be in Syracuse for the Federation meeting.

Stay tuned!!
