I have spoken to Doug about this very trail....Based on all of my dealings with Doug, he has always been a gentleman and true to his words, and I ave met him a few times, too.
He is plannng a two-day event at several waters all over the East Coast, and some other waters as well, with one day being a "SP FROG Only" and the second day being a softplastic[specific brand only] Event{akin to the Yamamoto only events, but I dont think it is Yamamoto this time}.
Doug is a man of few words in my dealings, but he does follow through and come through always, and is funny as all get out , too.
I'll let him expand upon this further, as it is his trail.

I'm sure he is. I wasn't trying to bust his chops. I was just hoping to get a little more information out of him.

He does seem to always be in an awful hurry. At least the way he types his posts here anyway.

Just what we need here in the Northeast....another tournament trail.....oy vay! There are so many trails now, its hard to keep track. There is deffinitley a need for something similar to the old Foxwoods Trail however. Hey....how about the "Finn & Sawyer" trail? Thats a new trail that may be coming to the area next year 2005...word has it its going to be limited to 25 teams. Three two (2) day tournaments at $300.00 per team. Followed by a Classic tournament of some sort. Not sure of the payout but its rumored to be more than 90 % Pay Back. Hope to have more info soon.
