About 2 weeks ago when the water temp dipped from the high 60's to the low 50's this lake turned on big time. With the milfoil thinning and the colder water these LMB are more accessible and really on the feed.
Been trying to get out for an hour or two in the late afternoon after my (honey-do's) and work around the new house. Most fish are fat 2-3 lbers. I mean really fat but some real pigs are biting as well. Greg and I have caught about 6 or 7 well over 5 and I got a 7lb. 7oz. horse (got it on tape). We're dragging brush-hogs and hopping jig and chuncks. Its now about 15 degrees at 8-30 AM Sun morning so I'll wait till it warms up to the 30.s and see how they bite today. Okay honey, I'll split some wood first.

nice

the fun part of these trips must be spending time with the son. I admire the fact that you guys fish together I hope someday me and my son will be doing the same thing and hopefully be as good as you guys are at catching hogs. 5bass

Gary, that is a GREAT little lake you live on there. Although we didn't get into the biggin's this past June, I do remember seeing some of those big bruisers swimming around just before dark.

November fishing is just awesome!
