Rochester pond fishing - 5/15/2023

Fished a local pond for an hour and a half in the evening, earlier this week. Fishing was slow, but did manage a couple. I started in deeper water, and worked my way into shallow water, finally catching a largemouth about 15 feet from shore. Had several bites after that, but no hook-ups. Then caught my 2nd of the night - also about 15 feet from shore.
I paddled along shore for a bit, and did see some bass still on beds. I also saw some pumpkin seeds on beds. Usually when I see sunfish on beds, it seems to mean that the bass are done guarding their nests. I think this is the first time I've seen both on beds at the same time.
