I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on the board for a year of great entertainment, excellent fishing stories and friendship that can't be found on any other site. As is always the case every year we have all made new friends on the board, posted exciting news about so many wonderful fishing adventures and often times posted some of our finest embarrassing moments.

I will be off on vacation starting the end of this week and through the end of the year. The company I work for was recently purchased by Avaya and we are likely facing a very substantial lay-off within a week. If my employment changes, I will be back posting from a desk top at a new work location in the very near future - if it happens - so be it.

I hope that some of us can carve out some time to fish the great Winnipesaukee in NH this coming year ( Scully - let's do it again).

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays and wanted to thank everyone for another wonderful year of sharing on this site - John G and the entire staff -- your the best.
