Hey Fellow Anglers,

I have a few questions regarding Bass fishing at Kensico and The New Croton Reservoir. I know that this time of the year happens to be super cold, but according to the weather it is supposed to get all the way up to the fifties this Sunday. I am wondering if you would suggest a few baits that produce during this warmer day. I believe that the water clarity from both locations is clear, though I'm wondering what they will react to and what colors produce largemouth bass around this time. Please feel free to email me or respond to the forum about some tips or baits you would suggest, because I want to be prepared to fish either one of them on this warmer day all winter.

the problem is NOT what lure to use, the problem is: can you launch a boat at all: most of the waters are now frozen over, and open water is usually way out in the middle with no way to access it.....Do you have boats at these reservoirs or are you talking about shore fishing?
