Been spending a bunch of time motoring around staring at my electronics the last couple of weeks looking for new off shore structure, and after finding a new rock hump with weeds on one side and a steep drop on the other I realized this spot is going to produce fish for many seasons....very exciting....but I have not been able to get a fish over five pounds for a couple of months.

So, the question is: On your next outing would you rather go out and catch a lunker bass(4+lbs) or find a new productive offshore spot?

And if your wondering if I pulled a fish off this spot-the answer is yes, but nothing over 3.3 yet.

I think I'd be looking for a new spot but his would be a stop in my travels. Ultimately, you'd assume that their was a migration route to that rock and it might be good to find this path.
