NYTBF News
Congratulations for a great showing by NYTBF members Robert Stock and Lloyd Raheem at the TBF National Championship. Lloyd just missed out on 1st Place in the Eastern Co-Angler division while Robert Stock with 41-11 just missed taking the whole National TBF Championship event by a mere 8 ounces! Great Results Gentlemen, we are proud of you both!

The NYTBF Board suggests that all 2020 members who didn’t yet sign on for 2021 and new members are welcome to sign up via www.nytbf.og. The 2021 website has been updated and all Point and Team Open tournaments are now on line. Point and Team Open payments are by Pay Pal only. Late Point registrations at the ramp will not be allowed and late Team Open registrations include a $25 late fee. For the very special 1st Annual NYTBF Dick Garlock Memorial Team Open Tournament at Cape Vincent on Sunday June 27, we will manage a 4-6PM registration on Saturday June 26 at the Cape Vincent launch area. All tournaments entail the same entry fees as last year and with additional sponsorship for the Dick Garlock event, you can expect to see an ENHANCED PAY OUT schedule. There has been a lot of interest in this tournament and it is preferred that you register on line by June 22 or the day before at the ramp. Needless to say, you don’t want to miss this tournament! Oh did I mention many smallie bags of 20 pounds and up?

For 2021 Point Tournaments, non-cash winners can expect prizes such as MegaStrike, Bounty Hunter Custom Baits, Adirondack Reel Service and Wicked Weights (Tungsten) gift certificates. Revised NYTBF By-Laws and Tournament rules are also on our website and available for everyone to read. Floggers and underwater camera optics have been ruled out but there is no problem with using them while pre-fishing. To make the two-day Qualifier, simply fish in 3 of 5 Point Tournaments. For AOY standings, drop 1 of 5 Pout events. Early Bird point tournaments have been eliminated and our closing event will be a Team Open on Lake Champlain at Ticonderoga, October 3, 2021. The last bit of NEW NEWS is that the District 14 Semi-Final originally set for Port Colborne on Lake Erie hosted by the Ontario TBF will be hosted by the NYTBF on Lake George at Mossy Point, Ticonderoga September 15-19, 2021, details to follow.

Due to High Winds at Cape Vincent (where the St. Lawrence meets Lake Ontario) the June 26 and 27 events were postponed to the same location on July 31 and August 1. In doing so the scheduled August 1st Points tournament on Lake George at Mossy Point was cancelled. You can still sign on for the July 31st points for NYTBF members and the August 1 Dick Garlock Memorial Team Open by using the June dates on the www.NYTBF.org website. Non members can off course enter the Garlock Team Open. Nick A
