I just wanted to let everyone know that it is now official:
FrankJ has sold NYBASS to me and I will be taking over the position of Administrator and Webmaster. Frank is dedicated, like I am, to keeping NYBASS the way it is: with JohnG as Evil Tyrant...so he will not be selling it on the open market as a previous thread suggested. We came to a mutual agreement as to the financial considerations and I have to say Frank is not doing it for the money. His decision was made out of respect for the members here and his desire to keep control of NYBASS in the hands of the present "staff".
I want to express my sincerest thanks to FrankJ for helping to make this site the friendliest and most informative bass fishing site on the web. I'm looking forward to taking on the extra responsibility of maintaining NYBASS and promise the members that it will stay good-natured and fun.
There will be some downtime with the site while we move servers. We want to be careful to not lose the forum information and I will post information as soon as I have it regarding the day and time of the transfer.
Also, I will need an Assistant Webmaster to help out with managing the site. My first choice is Gregg if he wants it. Gregg, let me know.
Again, thanks FrankJ and all the members of NYBASS. I look forward to a lot of fun in 2004!!
