Nick and I hit the water yesterday at 515am hoping to beat the crowd but by the time we got set up we saw atleast 8 boats in our view. Water temps started at 81 and climbed to 87 by the time we quit at 345. It was HOT out there today and it was the first time We were actually happy to have windy conditions. Although it made the fishing tough it prevented us from keeling over out there. We got into fish right off the bat and had decent action until we left. The fish were relating to VERY specific weed lines which led to us covering a large amount of water. Nick and I managed 9 fish with all but 2 being over 3.5 pounds including a 3.15 which just missed the photo cut. We also had several savage hits which we just didnt hook up on and lost a few fish along the way
We tried some of our key deep water summer haunts which produced nada.

Nice job managing a productive post spawn , summer pattern successful outing . Locating bass his time of the season can be tough enough , the search in the heat just makes it more trying . Nicely done guys , great looking summer bass.

Great job boys!

Your success was no doubt the result of using the quintessential color that only works on that lake!
