Went to New Croton today. Spot 25. Fished from there to 300 yards past the 100 bridge. Nothing. Water temp 78 at surface. Marked a few fish off the bottom at about 30-35 feet and a few suspended at about 20 feet. Reallyndont know what type of fish they were. I'm new to this reservoir, using a row boat and fish finder with down view. Nothing. Not one bite. Tried a fluke with weighted underspin though the weeds shallower and Texas rigged worm and creature bait offshore deep. Once you mark a fish its almost impossible fir me to get down to it . Oh well... I'm learning....

What time were you out? I was also out for a few hours that day, from site 22. Maybe I saw you out there. We also didn't catch anything. Very frustrating. Not even a bite.Tried a bunch of different areas, with all sorts of lures. Hoping the spring is better.
