adding to the gopro competition, shimano is putting out a new waterproof sport camera. i see it on their site but no info on price and availability. maybe some people on the forum had more info on these type of cameras and experience with this one in comparison. my goal is to get a sprts camera by this summer for my fishing adventures but unsure if gopro is the way to do it. i am a shimano guy but this is the first generation so it is bound to have issues. here is a link to the site.

I've been looking at cameras too, check out sony's. image stabilized, splash proof without case, tripod mount without a case.

is the pov that good? i havent seen it before. how does it compare to gopro?
