new lures

While channel surfing this weekend I saw on HSN/QVC Chuck Woolery (the tv guy) pitching these motolures. Said he used them and caught fish and went to buy more and the company was going out of business so he bought the company. These looked like kids toys where you pull the string and they move.

Sounds like another gimmick like the helicopter lure.
I couldn't see how these lures would last after catching a few good size fish. As you jerk the lure back the tug of the string activates the lure to begin vibrating.

He said he was selling these last year, I was curious if anyone had any experience with these.

I had seen these a few years ago. They are a gimmick at best. I have seen them up close and personal and after the first big fish hits one you will be able to throw it away. Stay with the real stuff as these are designed to catch fisherman and not fish.

For $20 bucks you are much better off in buying 2 wiggle warts and 2 #7 shad raps. They will catch fish and you wont have to throw them away after your first catch.
