The big girl is a little over 44,000 acres with 72 square miles of water surface, 250 islands, 182 miles of shoreline and 504 feet above sea level. The deepest part of the lake is just over 175 feet.
Can you get lost on this lake - absolutely and if the fog drops in to visit, you better have GPS.
The season is almost over and I can't wait to visit this paradise next April after ice out.
