Hey guys,
Since my book was released on August 8th at Amazon it's been #1. Huge thanks to Mark Zona, Lortz, Palaniuk, Zaldain, Mazur, Nof, Tony D, Mangus, Lutz, TB, Stephen Neslage, and everyone else who helped me make it, there are way too many to list. Also thanks to my dad for giving me the ability, and to my wonderful peers and professors at Oneonta State for helping me become the writer I am today.
I got a lot of help from guys here in NY to write this. People took me to their best spots, shared some of their best secrets. It really does mean the world to me that so many trusted me to tell this story. If you do happen to read it, I really hope you like it.

continued good luck with your book!

we need someone to write a similar book about the NYC reservoir system! LOL ( currently, I must emphasize)......

15 years ago, I would have felt very confident writing a fishing book, hell, I could have guided on many of the different waters I used to fish then....now, with the current state of affairs on "our" ( NYC RES SYSTEM) waters, I am just another perplexed and frustrated angler.

back then, I had a few RES boats, and two trailered boats: one, a JON, that I would take to smaller waters, and the second, a bass boat, where I fished my local downstate bass boat waters ( ie: Maho, Candy, etc.)......

interestingly, I have never fished any of the waters that you mentioned in your book advertisement, and I sincerely hope that the types of tactics on those waters are consistent enough from year to year, so that the info in your book helps your readers.

unfortunately, those of us confined to the RES system, have seen our lifetime of knowledge rendered useless in the last couple of years...compounded by our limitation to rowing only, which makes "relearning" very difficult.....

Picked it up on Amazon, good read, very informative I would recommend to anyone looking for info on smallies no matter how much of an expert someone might think they are. Added to my smallie library.

Thanks guys. I don't know why, but I never get notifications of replies to things I've posted. But I do appreciate all the support. It's been pretty crazy. Seeing my book at Cabela's is like a dream come true. Barnes and Nobles and book stores are great, don't get me wrong. But Cabela's is like the top of the mountain. A big thank you to all the guys who helped me either with knowledge or actually taking me out on their home waters. And a huge thank you to everyone who bought it and has written and told me they liked it. If you bought it and like, please take a minute to review it where you bought it. Heck if you do and send me a link to your review I'll send you a free bait! lol
Thanks again,
Root
