I lied when I said I had fished Rockland for the last time earlier in the week. I couldn't resist getting out two more times...once with Dad and once with Andrew Bornn. Wednesday with Dad was slow, although Dad managed a decent largie on a firetiger crank. I could only catch yellow perch on jerkbaits and bladebaits.

Today, the 28th, was no better for me. I met up with Andrew, who had already caught 4 keepers before I got there on hard jerkbaits. He managed two more during the day, while I showed him how to panfish. I got a couple of nice perch and a mess of crappies in the pilings.
Here are two of Bornn's better fish:

Guess I should have made my announced last trip, my real last trip. Seems my gut instincts would have saved me from two bass skunkings! LOL! Some NYBass Angler huh! LOL!
