Hello All-
Looking to purchase a boat on the Kensico Reservoir. Looking with 2 friends, so ideally a 14' boat, well cared for etc., but from what I've gathered the tag is the hard part. I would consider a tag transfer without a boat too but that seems unlikely. Or any size boat with the tag maybe? Suffice to say I'll consider whatever's out there, ideally 14' on Kensico.
Admittedly I am a new poster here so I hope this is how it's done. I guess PM me if you have anything to offer. Boats, advice, jokes, what have you. I am ready to buy, cash in hand.

There is about a 10 year wait on Kensico DEP list right now. However, if your willing to pay big bucks, people will sell them to you. You can try Jack Stewarts up at Croton Falls or try Craigs list.

It varies & I don`t want to guess. Call Jack Stewart & you`ll get more accurate info. No, I`m not selling my boat there, unless you give me the winning lotto ticket when it`s over $600 Million.:laugh:

These are the typical Kensico ads, on rare occasions you find one on craigslist for $1000-$1500 but you need to act fast.

Thanks guys. Thinking about expanding the search to New Croton. Assuming this would be cheaper, maybe 1/2 the price or so. That seem about right?
