The date will be Saturday June 28 at Blydenburgh Lake, Smithtown. 7 am. FYI it's a long sandy drag to the water but there is ample parking and hopefully BBQ space. I'm still trying to get the info on cooking out.

GPS to the launch
40.844358,-73.224736

Kayak launch is at the north entrance of the park at the end of New Mill Road

I also have multiple kayaks and will bring a few different paddles if anyone wants to try them out.

I'm in. I have a small kayak dolly I use to get my kayak (loaded with gear) down to the water. Some of you might want to take turns borrowing it, especially when it comes time to go up the hill back to the parking lot.

I'm trying to contact the park to see if I can get info on BBQing. They aren't returning calls or answering. Looks like there is a picnic area near the launch area but that's going to be first come. I'll let everyone know what's going on as soon as I get some info.

I was out there today to check it out. I'm going to try to be on the water by 6 on the 28. 9 hit this morning and you couldn't spit without hitting a rental boat. The fish were under trees right on the bank.
What do you guys think about just doing cold cuts vs. BBQ? That way if it's crowded we don't have to worry about finding a grill.
