fished thursday and friday for a few hours on Kensico to see what's going on. Has been a slow fall fishery v. Croton and I'm not sure why. At any rate got 6 LMBs to 4lbs on Thursday and 1 2lber before the rain started this morning. All fish on jerk baits in 12- 15' of water. They wouldn't touch a spinner bait or a hair jig....well now it's time to play with the fishing tackle and make Cabela's lists by the fire and dream of next spring.

Drove past Kensico yesterday and was wondering if things have picked up at all.
