Fished Rondout Creek.

Water temps in the upper 40's to 50. Water was real high and dirty from the rains earlier in the week.

The fishing was slow at best. I only managed to boat 3 keepers and lost two others. To get a fish to bite you had to hit'em in the head. I talked to a few others fishing and everyone had the same report.

Even with an incoming tide the water in the creek was still flowing out. At high tide the water level was nearly 2 feet higher than normal.

There is still some good fishing days on the Hudson, provided this week's rain does not muddy the creeks even more.

My son really enjoys fishing in the fall. He loves to flip the walls in the Esopus. With all the baseball and football he plays, we don't get too many chances to get out.

Provided the weather stays decent, we will be there sometime over the long weekend.

If the turkey dinner was not sooo good, I would really be depressed.

Hmmm, lets look at this previous season. Our club fished 9 qualifying tourneys. I fished 8 of them. I beat you head to head in 1,2,3,4,5,6 out of 8. And one you just squeeked by.

If it was not for you riding Joe M's coat tails in the buddy tourneys you would have zip.

If Gary and I join forces, you better come up with a real good partner. You will need it.:moon:

out of those 8 tourneys I finished 1st twice and 2nd once and 4th once that is not head to head that is finishes against everyone in the club .I won candlewood tourney and hudson tourney and 2nd on greenwood and 4th on mahopac . then the 2 buddy tourneys I also won and had a 3rd place finish in the classic.How many tourneys did you win this year skeet can everyone repeat after me and say ZERO.Yea it is good to have consistant wieght but you need to win a tourney once in awhile. So maybe you should lick my toes for me skeetman LOL. 5bass

me and craig vs Gary and Gary it could be a shoot out or is Paladine considered a ringer and from past years with watershed I would say he is . On a serious note skeet is one of the better fisherman I have ever competed against he has edged me out of angler of the year for a few years now . And Gary M is the man who added another technique to my game when he showed me the ways of the deep and I hope I showed him the ways to a limit on greenwood . Also skeet I knew you where going to bring out Joes name since twice this year we dominated the club buddy tourneys with 7 fish on candlewood for 19.10 and 7 fish on the river for 23.4 but me and joe go back a ways I am the guy who introduced joe to tourney fishing when I got him to join watershed . I am the guy who used to take joe out in my boat during practice since he did not have a boat back in the day so we spent alot of time together fishing . Yes joe is a unbelievable fisherman and we even talked about how guys in the club would eventually call joe a ringer but he is not a ringer he is a good friend of mine and when we fish together we both work hard as a team as anyone who has fished a team tourney with me knows I hold my own and encourage the guy I am with to do the same. 5bass

I don't want "others" to get the wrong idea, so here is my disclaimer.

5 Bass or 5 toes (I like 5 toes better) and I have been butting heads for a few years now. We have been helping each other become better fishermen for quite some time. 5 toes is very competitive and can even sneak a few fish to the scales.

With that being said..... Gary and I will still kick your butt :yes:

I won 2 club tourneys and placed 2nd and 4th on another I also won both buddy tourneys and placed 3rd in the classic. Skeet you are so focused on me vs you and answer the question how many tourneys did you win this year ZERO also how many tourneys did you win outside of the club can we say ZERO again . If you are wondering how many I have won outside the club we can just begin with you asking your team partner Gary M then we can go from there.I love trash talking with you but lets tell the real story how the club operates. You fish for your fish but you chose the guy you want in the boat with you or you fish alone. Skeet or should we say winless fishes alone Me on the other hand fish with my best friend Alberto and if alberto has a chance of winning I back off and let him try to win one like Highland etc etc and I always try to get alberto fish wich hurts me but makes me feel good at the end of the day .Dont mind Gary everyone he has a big foot fetish. 5bass
