Been a LONG time since I was out.

But Tsunami and I are planning a Sunday morning trip this weekend. I don't think we'll have all day to fish, so...

ANY advice on pattern and location would be greatly appreciated..I am expecting some fairly cold water, and the ever present breeze...and, I'm prayin' to stay dry.

Thanks.

Zuke.

Saratoga

Z - Saratoga is great in the fall. Look for the deepest green weeds (12 to 15 feet) that you can find in the main lake. Use jig & pig, worms, split shot senkos or drop shot. If the wind picks up, go shallow and throw a white spinnerbait in broken weed beds. The Creek was awful in September, but it may be worth a shot now. For the latest reports, stop by the tackle shop next to the State launch.

In about 8-10 feet of water on the southwest shore line, I think it's mannings cove, use a silver rapala and you'll pick up some nice pickerel and pike and the occasional monster large mouth depending on the size of the lure. I usualy use a countdown #7 I believe. Good luck.

Creek

When I was there in Sept the Creek was good for lots small bass so I would stay out of the creek unless you want 1lb to 1 1/4lb bass like Nick said stick to deeper green weeds. I had 5 fish for 6.15 and I culled.

Toga

I fished it when the weeds where blooming and had 15+lbs all from weed beds around the deep rock wall all the way down the lake on the left there is a rocky hard bottom with largelips and smallies mixed together and with the air temps not being stable I would use two baits a jignpig and a crankbait. If you launch from the creek make shure you hit the bridge and the concrete slabs with a dropshot rig the fish are not super sized but they stack up in about 20 feet of water. good luck 5bass
