I don't know if this was ever posted on NYBass, I did a search and didn't find anything. I found out this past weekend that Pete Planer who along with Norm Izzi ran Gone Fishing Bass passed away last July. I didn't know Pete very well, but on the few occasions will chatted he was always very nice and helpful.

don't think I ever had to pleasure to meet him, Andy....he was born in 45' so that makes him 6 years older than me....still before his time by today's standards.

Although Pete was the Admin guy of the Gone Fishing Bass Trail, with additional help, Norn Izzi will continue with the Trail in 2021. I fish their annual Night Tournament on Candlewood Lake and the duo ran a great event. Hopefully the GFT 2021 schedule will be posted soon and many of you will fish it. God Bless Bassman Pete Planer and may he Rest in Peace in a better place.
