Forge Thanksgiving Day

Fishing? On Thanksgiving day???? miraculous....how did you manage that?

did my part the night before, cooked till 4 am!....made Ziti...wildrice in mushroom sauce and oysters.......woke up at 8 am....Thursday....bolted out the door and voila!.....fished for 3 hrs....came back at 2 pm turkey's done courtesy of the sis in law...ate...and went to work at 4pm....went home 12 midnight ...

I sound like Bush on his whirlwind Bahgdad tour.....lol

I was out on the water as well......did OK with a few fish to 2lbs.

Beautiful day on the water. Saw Mr. Chance a few minutes on the water. When I left around 1, I saw a Jeep with the plates 'AKO' at the spill way....hmmmm..who could that be...

Glorious day on (in) the water. Wasn't going to fish for any LM yesterday but.... decided to go "home"! Wanted to give thanks to the one body of water that has treated me so well this year! I did manage to wade Zone(s) I, II and then made it to Wildwood. Something about the Peconic that makes me smile each and every time I am on(in) that river. Did manage to make it to Grumman as well. No guard! . I got to see a few Red Tail hawks and as always that made my day . BTW- LM'S are still cooperating
