Fished Forge Pond here on the island yesterday from 12:00 pm till 4:40 Pm. It was a beautiful day, perfect temps. The water clarity was about 2ft, water temps were between 59 when we started and 64 when we left, the pads are just starting to come up in spots. Surprised to see 5 or 6 other boats out. We were all social distancing (lol). started on creek channel edges figured prespawn staging areas etc, nada. Ended up with 7 LMB, 6 pickerel, and one huge sunny. Caught all our fish in 3ft of water or less in the backs of the coves. We tossed, jerkbais, lipless cracks, chatter baits, tubes. We caught all our fish on a weedless ned rig 1/15th oz with a TRD in Drews Craw. No picture worthy fish, but for the first time out this year very good outing, it was good to feel the tugs on the line. Thanks for reading.
