Hey guys, I'm going to Mohansic lake next week in FDR park and I'm gonna rent out a boat for the lake. Just wondered if you guys know any good spots on the lake, and also with the heat wave just passing what lures/baits should I use. I was thinking senkos and curly tail 7" worm and for the weeds the moss mouse. Thanks

The south east end ( left of the launch ) should be plenty vegetation to target with toads and hollow frogs , plastics and I would go weighted as well do some punching . Deepest area is right of the launch middle the lake about 20 feet.
Hope you do well there and and a report I have to get out there myself .

Only once there and it was my first time meeting Wild Bill. Good luck .

I called there about a week ago and they said unless you get the key there , the earliest you can get on the water is when the park opens , being you are renting a boat that is 8:00 if I remember correctly .
