Lisa and I hit a local Orange county lake today that's been getting pounded by meat eaters,We only saw a few today and didn't see them catching much.
We managed 25 bites today between 2-3lbs with a couple of larger fish in the 4+lb class.
Most our bites came off deep weed lines in 12-15 ft of water. Our two big fish came from a deep channel lined with standing timber in 15-18 ft of water.I hooked into a giant!(easy 6lb + fish) it came up out of the water did a sideways belly flop then started digging and wrapped me up on tree in about 16 ft of water,i felt the fish on there but couldn't get him unwrapped and after about five minutes I just gave up and cut my line(hopefully the fish survives)That burns me up man...uh!
Thanks for checking out report and pics.

As always , it's nice to see a Team NewWindsor report , great job catching the quality bite . I feel the sting of your missing the one that git away John, they sometimes stay with us longer than the ones we actually catch. Thanks for sharing .

I've got to give the Brush Hog more attention .
