A few weeks back I ordered a bag of the evolve mad mouse. I was having trouble getting fish to commit to my go to horny toad yesterday. They would smack it and that was it. I forgot about the mice and I was digging through my stuff to see if I had anything that might work better than the toads. Hey, I have mice! Put one on a 2/0 EWG and tossed it out and it got sucked down. Over and over I was getting blow ups and hooking up instantly. Pretty awesome and I realized I only had 4 in my box.
The nice thing about these I'd the front has curves up betted then the toads and they slide really easy across small pads. They also don't make a much commotion as the horny toads. I haven't tried them in NY waters yet but I just ordered 6 more bags.

Great looking mouse , I never added the hollow bodied mice to my top water baits and the toad type frog I prefer are those which make less a commotion on the surface I may give this mouse a try . Thanks for sharing Troy .

That mouse looks pretty cool.

If you like LESS commotion, try a Ragetail Spacemonkey rigged weightless like a toad. Just make sure there's a bow in the belly of the bait.

To add to it they last a hell of a lot longer and when they do rip you just run the hook through another part of the body and it still runs the same. Toads don't.

Gotta like those Ragetails , those space monkeys seem a bit more buoyant and more subtle than the Rage toads . Thanks for the suggestion John .

Troy , how do the appendages / legs and tails hold up after strikes , are they durable ? also does it stay aright on the pause or roll over , do you have to keep it burning back to the boat ?

I probably got 10-15 fish on some of them and tail and legs stayed o and they stay flat all the way. I fished them on weeds, lay downs letting them sink and dropped them off docks. Caught a five pounder sight fishing docks and saw her come after it and killed it. She sucked it right in. The water was gin clear and had them on 40# braid with no leader.
