Any one out there into this at all? I finally got a new computer with the ability to make cd's and would like to get a little help, ie, websites, etc. I basically don't have a clue. I thought I saw this on here before, but I did a search and came up empty. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

dean... to get free music go to limewire.com, downlaod the software for free and have a blast downloading all your favorite songs for nothing... it's like napster used to be... or you can go to apple.com and download their itunes software... this allows you to buy 99cent songs...
i keep my music files on my computer and listen to them with itunes...you can also download them to an ipod or mp3 player or burn cd's.:beerchug:

You really have to be careful about downloading free music nowadays, especially with people like the RIAA and their slew of lawyers taking all the big internet providing companies (Verizon, ATT, AOL) to court forcing them to give the identity of the IP addresses they have linked to music downloading ... Heck they just sued a 12 year old a few months back :cussing:
If they would just stop charging 17 bucks for a CD with 1 or 2 good songs on it, maybe people wouldnt be out there looking for something for nothing ....
Oh if you do try the Kazaa thing .. go to this site and download Kazaa Lite .. It hooks up to the Kazaa peer to peer network with a sofware interface that unlike regular Kazaa, is SpyWare free.

After downloading
Move the music to a different directory on your drive. In the setup of the shareware you specify a drive and directory for the music files you wish to share. Do not list the new location of the music. If any spyware gets loaded it will not see a lot of files only thats days download.
