PauL: the final choices determine if the move was right or not: trying to get something for Ewing, since he would not be signed, and hence, walking at the end of the season, was simply a matter of getting something as opposed to nothing....
problem is: they made, as usual a bad choice, getting Glen Rice and that, as you said, was the tip of the money iceberg as far as ruining the cap.....
would have better , as it turned out, to let him walk and then claim the cap room........
