Guys,
Ray and I (and maybe Mike) are heading out fishing SOMEWHERE this Saturday. We all agree that we are looking to go somewhere that will produce #'s of fish and tons of laughs if possible. Notice I said FISH, not specifically bass, although that would be our preference. Tony and I hit the Thames last weekend, but the fish havn't moved in yet - so that is out of the question. Then we thought the Hudson, but with the rain and high winds expected over the next few days, that is going to be pretty chocolatey so that is probably out too. Then we thought Whaley. That is still a possiblity.
Has anyone been to Whaley lately? Does anyone have any suggestions on a fun, #'s place within two hours of Mahopac? If all else fails, I'll fish Maho, but I REALLY dont want to. I'll have the Skeeter so we cant go to a car toper type of place, i.e. Rockland.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Pat
