Got out yesterday also. Dead calm, water temps still in 5o"s. Caught 8 nice lm and all 10 ft and under. Biting on many baits; sp, jig and pig, cb, senko. My buddy even caught 2 on his fly rod using sinking line with a homemade hair jig. Another decent day for 4 hrs of fishing. The temps are still going to be decent this whole week into weekend{50 degees).Still going to get out several more times. Got two more whole weeks for boats on res. I beleive still more good fishing left. 30 years on res has shown me fishing is good right up to end. There have been times when I have even gone off shore in some key spots in December and caught some nice hogs with stop and go cb. Yesterday cranking; I had to stop bait and wait a couple of seconds to let bait start floating up doing nothing at all and the fish would smash it. Hang in there and keep fishing. FOOTBALLS.

Andy: keep banging them out!!! the bigger the water, the more resistant to change in TEMP......

PatX was out on Whaley SAT and that water was only 41 degrees!!!

shallower, weedier, quicker changing.......

Cub,
Nope, the guy with the fly rod was Carl, not Alka.
