Went to check my boat for the first time this year on Amawalk. Found my boat turned right side up, filled to the top with 20 to 30 lb rocks and filled with water. The boat was about 20 ft from the tree it's locked to. Spent the next 2 hrs emptying the water and removing all the rocks. Lucky when we turned the boat over to check the bottom there was no damage. People are assholes, I will never understand why they took all that time to fill my boat wth rocks, it had to take half a day to gather all those big rocks and bring them to the boat. I hope I never catch them . Might not be the right place to put this but I wanted DEP to see it. The boat is right next to the DEP boat ramp.

John, Sorry for your troubles. It just seems the thing to do for the 21st Century moronic kids/Adults? Why do people go out of their way to put viruses on your computer? Look at how people drive? Look at people inflicting their kids on you at a restaurant. There is just NO respect or consideration towards others property in todays times. Glad you had no damage.

Thanks Marty, I should be able to use the boat after a good cleaning and some lubrication of the oar locks. I'm going to find out what areas are open on some other res. ,the water just is too far down all the time for my dad to even think about going. He's 80 and needs to be able to just turn the boat over and push it in the water.

That is absolutely terrible. I think everyone has done their fair share of childish and foolish acts but who the hell would spend that much time doing that. I'm glad the boat is okay. Sorry you had to spend your day doing this.
