Had a fun weekend again on the big lake

Attached is my fishing report on what we did and how.

I extended an invitation to nybass.com member javelin to come up from Binghamton and fish it and he excepted... so that was pretty cool too.

Also here's the URL to the local coverage the Watertown Daily Times gave the big bass derby.

big beast of a smallie weighed in 5.75 lbs ... I called it "MC Hammer" ... because I couldn't touch it...:laugh:

http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20130826/NEWS03/708269950

the story has a photo of Javelin (Eric) weighing in

thanks for reading:peace:

Love the smallie action up there, the a-rig seems to be pretty popular or was it always? Saw some pros on the FLW tour (sp?) fishing it, is it legal in bassmasters tour? Haven't seen those guys fishing yet but I dont follow it too closely

Swendots -

To the best of my knowledge the BASS Elites banned it as did the PAA, but all other tournament organizations allow it .

Its just another tool when used in the right place at the right time... it works pretty well

Nothing more... nothing less

I've been fishing it since the fall of 2011 with good success
