Me and my partner are struggling on mahopac then again I was struggling on the hudson all week then came the tourney yesterday and I pulled off a win go figure. 5bass

Pat probably has more time in reverse on mahopac then most of us have going foward LOL. Pat is a really good fisherman and deserves every bit of credit that he gets and he has proved it time after time. But hold on I know alot of the guys in this tourney sat and I have competed against alot of them . And the guys I do know can kick some serious butt on any given day so anything can happen.The question is will it be deep or shallow or in between who knows well maybe pat but that is besides the point LOL. I am not on consistant fish for this tourney and my partner is in the same position but I am always confident and I know that at any time during a tourney things can turn from bad to 20lbs in a blink of an eye . I like the odds that you posted but 2 other guys I would like to mention Gary Menchen this is the man who showed me the ways of the deep with a spoon on mahopac and joe mahood this guy can out finesse anyone I know and is the master of patience. My partner is skeet (Gary Kanwisher) anyone who fishes the jersey fed probably knows him. mike 5bass avery

gary This wouldnt be the team that beat us on the bergan open on mahopac a few years back in late fall . they had over 18lbs if I remember correct and we had over 16lbs. The good news is I now know who paladine is 5bass

We got to target the green stuff gary and please dont knock out out any grass carp with those big jigs. Also I was going to run a johnson spoon over the matted weeds on the surface LOL
