While participating in the Yamamoto Open Series National Final just recently, samples were given out of a livewell additive called "Rejuvenade" made by BassMedics which really impressed me there. At the sign-up, we were told that it helped fish survive in the well better, and that it helped heal hurt fish.
Well, sad to say, I hooked a keeper deep, and it was bleeding real badly, and did the "upside-down dance" immeadiately in the well, and continued to do so for quite a while each time I released it's lips while I tired to save[revive] it, but miracously, after being in the well with this product , it came around, and by the end of the day it was doing fine, being lively and well at the weigh-in. I never thought this fish would live an hour, and I was feeeling REAL guilty about having killed it [I thought], but dang, this stuff really works. The second day, again, all of our fish were strong and healthy.

Not to sell the product short but I don't think it was a miracle you witnessed. I've seen many a "belly up" bass "come back from the grave".

I think sometimes they're just in shock or disoriented.

Those additives are great for preserving the slime coat which prevents infection and for calming the fish down a bit but I don't think they're an immediate cure for a wounded fish.

Sometimes they come back(for all you King fans). NBS is giving out free samples as well or was. I too have seen fish "die" in the livewell only to come back to life with some gentle pleading and care.

Bill Our club has been using this product for a while now. I wrote a post about it a while back. This stuff works great! Definitly made a beleiver out of me.
