Welcome Bill M and JeRome, that's 15 and counting. Looks like this will be the first outing with no representation from our kayak contingent and no Long Islanders.

With Troy's tournament season on the way and the HVKA group getting things going the way they have been growing . It's a great thing as well it is unfortunate this year there will be from them no showing . I really like seeing these guys coming through sharing theirs and adding to the overall camaraderie .

I look forward to seeing you all there .

I apologize. I somehow wrote in the wrong Friday date on my calendar. I had it down as Friday May 12, but Mark NJ Bass informed me that it was Friday, May 19th. I called John Hart and we are both out for the 19th. I have that date reserved for the day in the City with my wife and then Buddy Guy at BB King's in the PM. My bad but I hope that you have nice weather and catch a bunch of bass.

Thanks Nick for the update, we'll miss you and have a great time in the City.
We can use another boater so if you want to have a good time fishing and like pizza, it's not too late to sign-up.

It's only a week away!

Bernie W, come join the fun.
Looks like the temps will warm up a bit next week and hopefully Friday should be 80ish. I've got my fingers crossed on the bite, we got out three days this week for about 4 hrs each time on two different lakes for at least 80 LM and SM with a hand full of double headers too.

With Friday fast approaching I thought that I'd comment on lunch, I'll bring plates and napkins and will order the pies so that everyone has three slices. The cost should be 6 or 7 per person and bring your own refreshments. I'll get a regular pie and the others will be pepperoni and sausage since that has been the preference in the past. If anyone has any other requests or suggestions, please let me know now. Looks like we will be in the 90 degree range on Wednesday and Thursday. Looking forward to a great day, camaraderie and remembering a true gentleman/ fisherman.

Not that you can put much trust in the weatherman but as of now air temps should be 75 to 80, overcast with the possibility of a T-storm at 1 and then again at 4. I'll place the pizza order twenty four hrs. in advance for Friday. See you all there.:letusfish

Hi everyone. I am sorry that I will not be able to participate due to some pressing family matters. I have looked forward to this since last May, and will be with you in spirit. Looking forward to pictures and reports. At least it won't be pushing 90 degrees tomorrow! Be well; tight lines, boys and ladies.

This was one that I have been looking forward to as I get to meet up with as many members at one time as I do throughout the season . For that reason one that to its namesake keeps in mind as well remind me of Wild Bill every time . Gratitude and appreciation for Leo hosting again and for all those who participated, especially the boaters who afforded evey non boater A ride not just as guide but making a new angling friend . In spite of all my catches for the day were the variety that came with sharp teeth and thick slime I had a blast throughout evey cast catch'n 'em with BillM .
The weather proved a good one for all to have fun especially for those who stayed on the move , figured 'em out and caught some nice ones . Everyone continue forward with a fun filled bass season throughout the year catching personal best and always a limit remembering Wild Bill , as never far away but always near in spirit .

Water Plant Sky Vehicle Tree

Thought I'd surprise the attendees with a spring stocking of 3 to 6 lb LM but the truck came too late. We were getting off the water for lunch. I wanted everyone to feel like they were fishing in the NYC Watershed. Instead the State stocked some 750 rainbow trout in lieu of the bass. I couldn't believe that the people were waiting for the truck and as soon as the net fulls of trout were tossed in, so were the fishing lines.

Since the previous post had my only picture I thought that I would embellish a bit for the sake of a little levity. I wouldn't want to get the NYC Ressie crew mad at me and no SM were caught. For Krista and myself it was another great get-together but I would have enjoyed a little less wind from mother nature, not the story telling kind. I think everyone else enjoyed themselves too since we chatted for a good hour and a half until the rain drops began to fall and on the way home it became torrential.
As far as our fishing success went, we caught toothies, BG's and a few small LM but had no success getting the better LM in the boat, they all came off. Catching some "just" picture size bass would have been nice but seeing friends, remembering Wild Bill and sharing a stories was the high point especially since the seminars are only a memory.
