Auburn, New York - The New York BASS Chapter Federation proudly announces the 2014 tournament schedule. We look forward to visiting these world renown bass fishing waters and enjoying the hospitality of the host communities.

New York BASS Chapter Federation is one of the largest state organizations within the BASS Nation. Having been established over forty years ago as an affiliate of BASS, NYBCF strives to promote not only a competitive bass fishing tournament environment but also a strong youth program combined with a college scholarship program. Since 2009, NYBCF has owned a Conservation/Release Boat which is used to promote proper fishcare as well as spearheading a significant effort in controlling invasive plants. NYBCF members and leadership has also played a significant roll in helping to establish and revise fishing regulations and access.

We actually announced to the membership in June. Got a lot of positive feedback as this gives folks the chance to establish plans well in advance. Many need to negotiate vacation time with employers or spouses. It also gives folks a chance to visit the lakes this year and spend some time learning new areas. NYBCF has not been to Plattsburgh, Ogdensburgh or Henderson in at least five years.

We are also aware of some anglers looking at the costs of each tour and seeing the caliber of lakes NYBCF is chosing and deciding to fish with us in 2014. Gas prices keep rising, costs of hotels go up. So having well run events where we pay back 100% of the entry fee to the anglers, where we guarantee $2500 and $1500 respectively to the winners and we pay one in six places gives anglers an outstanding option closer to home.

I have attempted several times to get on the Federation site to find out more details about becoming a member but it keeps telling me the site is down. Is there another link to the site someone can give me.

Thanks,
