How Fishermen sneak expensive Bass Boats past their wives....lol...

The Fact of the matter is, that in the end, no respectable bass fisherman is going to be totally happy unless he has a boat with EVERYTHING on it possible, but of course, that brings it into the 70 grand plus range, not an easy sell to the Missus....

So what they do is start low: a "fully" equipped Tracker to begin with, then say, after a year or two, or so, they trade up to a 20 or 30 grand used Ranger/Skeeter, et al, boat, and then the deception begins: one year, they upgrade the TM to a 24 or 36 volt....next year they upgrade one of the electronics, the following year, the other electronics....then comes the first Talon....another year, the second Talon......lol...and then, horror of all horrors, they come out with 360 view, or live view, and now suddenly, those electronic "upgrades" don't look as appealing as they did several years ago!

and then what do we end up with? These Frankenstein mismatched boats that end up going for sale where the boat itself is ancient, but the add on gear is extravagant...lol

In an ideal world, everyone would be able to just take the plunge from the get go, and take out a home equity loan for about 125 grand, and get the boat plus the rig you need to transport it.

But since that could be a potential marriage ender, instead, they have to emply the "slow burn" method, enumerated above....lol

but as Spanky used to say: "you can fool some of the people, some of the time, but you can't fool Mom!".....so, eventually, despite all the conniving, she finally gets hip to what is going on....

at that point, you are hoping, it is too late! AHAHHAHAH......
