We had 25 Anglers fish today and very few limits were caught. Most guys reported catching their fish on Senkos, Jig & Pig or spinnerbaits.

When the final fish was weighed Mike O'Hearn took first place with a monster 17.55 lb. limit of LMB anchored by the Lunker of the day that went 5.62 lbs. and O'Hearn reports throwing a Jig & Pig all day long.
Mike OHearn's lunker from his 17.55 lb. winning limit
Brad Paradise took 2nd place with a solid limit weighing 12.04 lbs. since I was recording the weights I didn't get a lot of time to ask Brad what he caught his fish on
I took 3rd place with a weight of 11.13 lbs. My big fish went 4.03 lbs and she came on 1/8 oz black & blue bitsy bug, the rest of my limit and four cull fish all came flipping a chigger craw into mats in 2-4 ft. I used 50 lb Power Pro braid, 1/2 oz. weight and 3/0 EGW Superline hook and my Dobyns 705C rod. That rod really helped me get those fish out of heavy cover. Now grant it my fish weren't the biggest, but they were nestled up tight under the mats and the backbone of that rod can move a fish in a hurry when you need to.
I tried to get a good kicker, but I just couldn’t get a big fish like I found on Thursday after work.
All- in- all a double tough day with other limits weights around 9 - 7 lbs. and then multiple three or two fish to one or none weighed.
Chris Flint took the day's mega mini with this feisty rat that pulled the scales to 0.96 lbs.
Steve Sharland with a couple from his 5-fish limit
