Island Pond
Location	Tuxedo, NY in Harriman State park
Access	Harriman State Park's Seven Lake Drive, you need to purchase the gate key for the parking lot (Separate key from the Welch, Tiorati, and Stahae key) Cartop launch only.
Directions	From the South Take Palisades Parkway to the Harriman/Seven Lakes Drive exit, go 3/4 of the way around circle onto Seven Lakes Drive and follow until Tiorati Circle, take first right onto Arden Valley Rd and go approx.3.5 miles, entrance gate on left. From the North Take Rt 17 towards Tuxedo make left onto Arden Valley Rd. And go approx. 2.5 miles, entrance gate on right.

Long Pond Lake
Location	Clinton, NY
Access	Nine Partners Rd.
Directions	Go north on the Taconic, look for signs that say Town of Clinton, or Town of Stanford. (here's a tip, when you see the sign for Troop K Police Headquarters, you'll know your gettin' close). Stay on until you see Pumpkin Lane then after that Nine Partners Rd. Now...9 Partners is the street you'll need to take, but the median is usually closed....so once you see it, continue PAST it to the next exit, Bulls Head, and get off and come back the other way on the taconic - where you were COMING FROM. So when you get back to 9 Partners, make a right onto it, and continue straight. Soon you'll see the Schultzville Cafe and General Store (a great little place for coffee and breakfast or lunch). Right passed it, you'll see a very small metal bridge - go over it and turn your first right onto Long Pond Road.

Boat Rentals	The boat rental place is about 7 or 8 driveways up on the left. The lake will come outta nowhere, and you'll have to keep your eye out for a tiny brown sign that reads "Boat rentals and fishing." That is the Hartley's residence. They have nice, sturdy rowboats that you can mount a trolling motor on. There is plenty of parking - and the place runs on the honor system - in the small red shack there's a slot in the door to pay - leave $15 (that's right - only fifteen dollars to rent a boat for the entire day!) with a piece of paper with your name, hometown and driver's license on it in an envelope, and drop it into the slot. Lake Kanawauke
Location	Harriman State park
Access	Harriman State Park, Using the north directions one of the 2 lakes in Harriman State Park that you can reach with a trailer.
Directions	From the South Take Palisades Parkway to the Harriman/Seven Lakes Drive exit, go 3/4 of the way around circle onto Seven Lakes Drive and follow past the Tiorati Circle to the Kanawauke Circle, make first right at the circle onto county route 106, go approx. .5 miles, entrance is on the left. From the North Take Rt 17 towards Tuxedo past the Red Apple Rest, make right onto on ramp for Rt 17A/Old Rt 210 at end of ramp, make left onto county route 106 and go approx.5 miles, entrance on right.

Lake Mahopac
Location	Carmel, NY
Access	Lake Mahopac has no access for shore fishing, McDonalds Marina is the main private launch. $20 launch fee
Directions	Mahopac: from the South: 684 to exit 8, Hardscrabble RD. go up the ramp and make a left and go right OVER 684, after you go over 684 bear left and then get onto the right lane. After 2 traffic lights bear right and it will take you through a small town, you will be prompted by a sign that says Mahopac to the left....make that left and you will now be on Croton Falls Rd.....after a couple of miles on Croton Falls RD, you will again be prompted to make a left to get to Mahopac....do that, and then a couple of miles later, you will reach the intersection with RT 6.....make a left onto Rt 6, past the FATHEAD DELI, and after the first traffic light, make the next right turn which will take you to the Mahopac Marina.

Mohansic Lake
Location	Yorktown, NY
Access	Mohansic is in FDR State Park can be accessed from the Taconic Parkway also if you purchased the rear gate key From Balwin Rd.
Directions	Taconic Parkway to Route 202, north of White Plains
Regulations	New York State license, Taconic Park permit is needed to launch a boat, rear entry key additional charge (needed to get on early park doesn't open till 8am) Boat can be moored there for another additional fee. No gas motors, electric are allowed.
Size	106 acres (not counting Crom Pond) 30' Max depth.

Additional info	Mohansic is connected to Crom Pond by a shallow and narrow but navigate able channel. Crom Pond is an extra 40 to 50 acres of fishing. Crom is 12' at it's deepest and weedier then the main lake, both lakes have weeds and Lily pads.

Lake Ronkonkoma
Location	Islip, Long Island, Suffolk, County
Access	There are several points of access to Lake Ronkonkoma. Off of Victory Drive there is a DEC parking lot and a concrete boat ramp. There is also a 100 foot handicapped accessible fishing pier located in the Suffolk County Park off of Park Circle Lane on the north end of the lake. Due to its proximity to some of the best habitat in the lake, the fishing pier is highly recommended as a shore fishing spot. A Suffolk County Green Key is required and seasonal park fees may apply. Directions	Lake Ronkonkoma lies just north of the Long Island Expressway and east of Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma. To reach the DEC boat launch, take Ocean Avenue north to Rosevale Avenue. Make a right onto Victory Drive. The boat launch entrance, marked with a wooden DEC sign, will appear on your left.

Location	Armonk, NY
Access	Wampus is a Westchester County Park with plenty of parking.
Directions	Rt.22 N to Rt 128 Left onto Rt.128 at the light, Wampus is on the left about 2 miles after the town.
Regulations	No motors of any kind allowed, NY State fishing license. Hand launching of boats only no ramp. You must have a Westchester permit to use a boat. Which can be attained at the boat house during the season.
Size	46 acres, 25' at it deepest. Wampus gets heavy weed and lily pad growth during the summer.

Additional info	New Croton is split in half east and west by a no fish zone from the east Taconic Parkway bridge to the railroad trestle. The reservoirs tend to be large and deep, Croton has extensive weed growth in the shallow areas and many offshore humps not on the maps.

Canandaigua Lake
Location	The lake is bordered on the north by the city of Canandaigua, and on the south by the Town of Woodville.
Access	Canandaigua Lake State Marine Park Off Route 20 in the City of Canandaigua. Concrete ramp. Parking for 110 cars and trailers. Operated by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Woodville Site On Route 21, 3 miles north of the Village of Naples. Concrete ramp. Parking for 80 cars and trailers. Operated by the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Conesus Inlet Wildlife Management Area located off West Lake Rd.(Rt.256), at the south end of the lake. Cartop launch only; parking for 40 cars. Operated by the DEC. Pebble Beach located off Pebble Beach Road, northwest corner of the lake. Cartop and parking for 120 cars. Operated by the DEC. Honeoye Lake
Location	Honeoye Lake is located 28 miles south of Rochester in southwestern Ontario County.
Access	Honeoye Lake Public Boat Launch Located at the SE corner of the lake off East Lake Road. Parking for 30 cars with trailers. Operated by the office of the Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Winter maintenance allows for ice fishing Access. Sandy Bottom Beach Launching is available for small trailered boats, cartops and canoes off Sandy Bottom Road, at the NW corner of the lake, Lakeside parking allows for about 6 cars. There is additional parking near the baseball diamond. Operated by the Town of Richmond. Winter maintenance allows for ice fishing access.

Candlewood Lake
Location	Sherman, New Milford, New Fairfield, Brokfield, Danbury.
Access	Candlewood can be accessed from Squantz Pond and Lattens Cove, both free CT DEP ramps. And the Candlewood Lake Boat Launch and Chatterton Marina.
Directions	Squantz Pond Launch Route 684 North.Take 684 North to Route 84 east. Take Route 84 east to exit 5. Off exit, proceed through stop sign and continue straight through traffic light at the bottom of the hill. Continue straight. At traffic light by a major shopping center, continue straight(by bearing left). Stay on this road until you get to a Mobile Gas station on your RIGHT hand side and Make a right at that traffic light. NOTE: You will pass a Mobile station on your left, continue straight. Continue straight on this road as it bends around. You will see the lake on your right. Squantz Cove launch ramp will be on your right directly across from a fire station.

Lake Lillinonah
Location	CT
Access	Free DEC Ramp
Directions	To the Steel Bridge Launch. From Rt.684 N to Rt.84 E to Exit 7 which is Rt.7 (left hand exit) take it till the end, Make right on to Rt 202 N, 1/2 mile to intersection with traffic light and Texaco station. Make a right. 2 miles to next light (large intersection) Make left. Straight 1.5 miles you go over the Steel bridge, launch is immediately on the right after Bridge.

Manamasco Lake
Location	Fairfield, CT
Access	Free Ramp parking lot, trailers are allowed.
Directions	To get to Mamanasco from I-684 take Rt.116 at exit 7 towards Purdy's/Somers. Follow Rt.116 it joins up with Rt.22 after a while it gets called Titicus Rd., but it's still Rt.116 follow around to south end of lake. Turn south from Rt.116 onto Mamanasco Road, launch is on left. Parking: 10 cars.
Regulations	Connecticut State License, Use of internal combustion engines is prohibited. Electric motors are allowed.

Lake Aeroflex
Location	Andover NJ
Access	Kittatiny State Park, free launch
Directions	Kittatiny State Park launch take route 80 west to exit 25 (206N Newton Stanhope). Stay on Route 206 for roughly 6.5-7.0 miles until you reach Limecrest Road( look for an Exxon station on the corner, also look for Andover Airport signs). Make a right onto Limecrest Road and follow it for about 2 miles until you see signs for the Airport, make a left into the parking lot for Lake Aeroflex and you will first see a huge parking lot and just past that on the right is the area for boat launch.

Location	Mt. Arlington
Access	Lee's County Park Marina, Hopatcong State Park.
Directions	Lee's Park. Take GSP south to route 80 west. Take route 80 west to exit 30, Howard Boulevard. At bottom of the ramp, make a right onto Howard Blvd. Proceed straight up the hill for about 2.5 miles. Lee's Park will be on your left hand side. Hopatcong State Park Take exit 28 from Route 80 or follow Route 183 in Netcong.

Directions	I-287 northbound to exit 55. At the end of the ramp make a right heading north on Ringwood Avenue. (CR 511). Stay on CR511 / Ringwood Avenue (later Greenwood Lake Road) for almost 11 miles through Haskell, Wanaque and all the way around Wanaque Reservoir and past the Monksville Reservoir dam. Just past the dam (Stonetown road) there will be an entrance to the launch site on the left. It has no signs, but is the next left. See entrance picture. Drive down hill to parking area. Exit number from 287 south is exit 57 and just follow above..
Regulations	New Jersey State license, Monksville has a gas motor limit of 9.9 hp. You can launch a Bass boat you just can't use the big motor.

Swartswood Lake
Location	Swartswood, NJ
Access	Swartwood State Park
Directions	From Route 80, take exit 25, Route 206 north to Newton, about 12 miles. From Newton, make a left at the second traffic light (Route 206 and Spring Street) then make a left at the next light onto Route 519. Follow 519 for approximately 1/2 mile, then make a left onto Route 622 at Sussex County College sign. Follow Route 622 for about 4 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Route 619. The park entrance is about 1/2 mile south on Route 619.

Wawayanda Lake
Location	Passaic County
Access	Wawayanda State Park
Directions	Take Route 23 north to Union Valley Road. Follow Union Valley Road about 6 miles to stop sign. From Stop sign, go to second traffic light. Turn left, travel to fork in road (about 2 miles) go left about 1/2 mile to Warwick Turnpike. Turn left. The park entrance is four miles on the left.
